Apply for Your Apartment Online
To apply for one of our managed rental units, please ensure you have all necessary information prepared before starting the rental application process.
Important: We do not accept third-party applications or outside credit reports. A new application must be submitted using the official link below.
How to apply:
- Start your rental application and complete all required fields using your legal name, Social Security number, and accurate information.
- As part of the application process, our property management software provider (Buildium/SmartMove®) will require you to verify your identity and may charge you a non-refundable processing fee directly for obtaining your credit and background reports. This fee is collected solely by the third-party provider; Skyline Realty does not charge or retain any portion of it.
- If requested, complete a guarantor form and provide any additional documentation.
- Once approved, you will be asked to pay your required move-in funds and sign your lease.
Note: Paying the third-party processing fee does not guarantee approval of your application. Only management can approve tenants to be added to the rental agreement.
Deposits and Account Setup:
- Once approved, you will be asked to create a resident account in our portal and make a payment equal to your first month’s rent.
- If moving in mid-month, a prorated amount will also be due in addition to the first month’s rent.
- For other required amounts (last month’s rent, security deposit), you will receive a separate secure payment request. Management will not sign any leases until all required funds are paid in full.
What you will need to apply:
- Personal and emergency contact information
- Employment and rental history, references
- Apartment information and desired rent amount
- Details such as pets and vehicle registration
- Bank information for deposits and payments
- Credit and background check completed through Buildium/SmartMove®
